Data Deletion

Delete your UPBEAT account

You can request full deletion of your UPBEAT Growth OS account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways:

  1. From the app: sign in, open Settings → Account, and click Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm.
  2. By email: send a message to hello@upbeatgrowth.com with the subject Data Deletion Requestfrom the email on your account. We’ll confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile and authentication record (Supabase Auth).
  • Brand profile, voice samples, uploaded images, generated articles and posts, tasks, keywords, chat history with Beat.
  • Encrypted integration credentials (Google, WordPress, Klaviyo, Meta, Stripe). We also revoke our OAuth tokens where the platform supports it.
  • Usage logs tied to your user ID. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained.

Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons (for example, Stripe invoices). Encrypted backups roll off within 90 days.

Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) data

If you connected UPBEAT to Meta via Facebook Login, you have three ways to have the data we received from Meta deleted:

  1. Disconnect in UPBEAT: open Settings → Integrations → Meta and click Disconnect. We immediately revoke and delete the stored OAuth tokens and any cached Page/Instagram/Threads metadata tied to your account.
  2. Revoke from Facebook: go to Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations, find UPBEAT Growth OS, click Remove, and select “Delete all posts, photos, and videos”-style options as offered. Facebook will send us an automated deletion request (see below) and we’ll complete it within 30 days.
  3. Email us: hello@upbeatgrowth.com with the subject Meta Data Deletion and include the Facebook account email or page name so we can match the request.

Automated deletion endpoint (for Meta)

When you remove UPBEAT from your Facebook account, Facebook sends a signed deletion request to our callback URL. We verify the signature with our Meta App Secret, queue deletion of all data tied to the provided Facebook user ID, and respond with a confirmation code and status URL as required by Meta.

After we process an automated request, you can check status by visiting /data-deletion?code=YOUR_CODE using the confirmation code Facebook shows you.

Timeline

Manual and automated deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Encrypted backups containing your data roll off within 90 days. If you don’t hear back within a reasonable window, email hello@upbeatgrowth.com.
